Memorial Day weekend part 1

On Saturday Ziggy called in sick at work (he really did have a tummy ache) and we went down to the Cochran Farm. We had a great time and Gillian and Abbie had tons of fun with their presents from grandma and grandpa. They got to go to the barn and check out the bunnies and the Alpacas (not to close to the Alpacas though). They both took a two hour nap so that gave the "adults" time to catch up and yummy hot fudge sundaes!

This is what we did the whole time, showing off our toys. Notice it is in her left hand. :)

Proud Mommy!!!

So I really am not one to brag... I really not, but I can't resist. Today I dropped Gillian off at the Day Care since Ziggy had to be in Olatha early this morning. When I was there I was talking to the wonderful lady who is in charge of the infants. Well, she was telling me about Gillian and how wonderful she is. She told me that though she is the youngest in the class she is the most advanced! The other four babies are just now rolling and Gillian is trying so hard to crawl. She said that the other kids will roll and then watch Gillian wiggle across the room. This definitely made my feathers perk up and a huge smile on my face. I just love my baby girl!!!!

Saturday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Wards for a birthday. It was a great time. Gillian and Abbie were wonderful and it was great seeing everyone. We had a lot of fun with the snapping turtle and I even made Abbie laugh. Great times!

Zoey's First Birthday!!!

Zoey turned one on Saturday and Kerri threw a party at Bennett Park for her. The weather was nice and all the kids enjoyed being outside. Zoey didn't get a nap at all that day so she was a little cranky but overall it was fun! She got lots of presents and loved being able to play in the grass.
Didn't realize it was on b&w at first
Ziggy took his lunch break late to come to the party. Yay
No cake for us. Just some yummy formula!
They were soooo cute

Power nap during the party
Cupcake cake
Trying to help open presents
This was very cute

She didn't go at the cake like we all thought she would

May Day Flowers

Yesterday I work I received flowers at work from my Mother-in-law Amy and her husband Steve. It was really funny because when people saw them they thought they were from Ziggy but I told them that they were from another man. It was a hoot. They are sooo pretty and even have tulips! They were for May Day which was very nice. I can't wait till Gillian gets old enough and Ziggy can teach her that tradition...well the tradition of the gifts to our neighbors and the Catholic celebration of Mary. Not the actual remembrance of workers rights though that is very important to know (its the history nerd in me coming out)

Thank you for the wonderful suprise! I feel very special!!!
