Liberty Fall Festival 2009
We went to the Liberty Fall Festival parade and the girls had a blast. We got there early to get good spots so we got some festival food to keep them entertained till the parade started. They loves all the floats that had loud music so they could dance. And of course they loved the flags in the marching band. They did a very good job through the hour parade.

It was raining last week and Zach had the front door open. The girls stood their forever watching the rain. Zach went into the kitchen to start making lunch and when the girls were being a little too quiet he went to check on them and this is what they were doing. The funny thing is that Gillian hates to get her hair brushed (all the crazy curls). He sent me this picture at work and I was rolling in laughter. They are so cute and so imaginative.
Great minds think alike!!!
I took this picture last weekend and when I was going to put it up today I stopped by my sister-in-law blog and she did the same thing!!! Haha great mind think alike!!

6 shirts, 1 dress, 2 pairs of pants, 1 sweater, 3 hats, 1 pair of shoes, and a pajama set. All from Old Navy for.... $45.00
They were taking 50% off of all their clearance. So when we went in there it buy Zach some new jeans, Gillian got a new wardrobe. She is in this stage where she loves hats and wearing them everywhere. I couldn't resist the three hats for .40 cents a piece. Now she has a hat for almost every outfit. Silly girl.

Random Pictures
Thursday when I was home with the Girls I took some pictures while they were playing. I take a lot of pictures that are just random and candid. I love watching them play and just being themselves. It is crazy how their personalities have developed and become their own. I am so excited to see how they grow and what they like and dislike. It just amazes me how wonderful they both are.

Sneak Peak of Halloween 2009
We picked up Gillian's costume last week and it is extremely cute!!! Zach did not want Gillian to be an animal this year since last year she was a dragon. So after looking through all the websites we finally agreed on one. It is super cute!!! She absolutely loves it. She goes over to where it is hanging and puts on the hat and wants to put on the whole costume. She is going to look amazing on Halloween!!!
Labor Day
For Labor Day we spent the afternoon in Lee's Summit with friends. We had a lot fun watching Gillian and Anthony play together. Gillian loved the power wheel car. She was so fascinated having Anthony drive her around. She kept getting in and out and at one time Anthony yelled "Get in the Car!" which had us laughing out butts off. The best part though was when Anthony danced for all of us.

Cookie Monster
I tried to have Zach take over the blog but that has yet to happen. So I have a lot to update. We made sugar cookies from scratch the other day. We wanted cookies but had no eggs so it was the perfect thing to make. It was funny because Zach said that I smooshed the cookie batter down with the fork and needed to be more gentle. Gentle to a cookie batter??? We made a lot of little cookies and then I attempted a big one. It was a lot of fun to make cookies as a family.
