Now that it is spring there are more opportunities to play outside!

Happy Birthday Zoey 3!!!

Zoey's birthday was on May 3rd so we went down to Springfield to spend the weekend with her. We took her shopping and then we went to dinner at Lamberts. Afterward we had cake, ice cream, and lots of presents. She was really happy with all of her gifts and couldn't wait to play with them all with Gillian.

Our First Major Owie!!!

Today at the daycare, Gillian and a friend were playing around and one thing led to another and the next thing anyone knew her friend slammed a door shut on Gillian's thumb. Well Zach took her to Children's Mercy Clinic and after some test they determined that she fractured the tip of her thumb bone. She also had a pretty big gash on her thumb but since her thumb is so small and there isn't a lot of skin they weren't able to give her stitches so they "super glued" he cut and put some strips on it. Poor girl... She took it like a trooper though. She was really brave and did a good job of letting the Doctors look at her.

I thought about putting the picture of the thumb on here but Zach said it was to graphic for a blog post. He is probably right.
