A day at Union Station
I took Gillian and Zoey to Union Station to see Big Bird and Elmo at the Planetarium. Since the first show was sold out, we had to kill some time. We went and saw the train display first. The girls loved watching all the trains on the tracks. After that we went to the Dinosaur Unearthed Exhibit. I loved it! Gillian did well. There were some moments when the dinosaurs seem too real for her and she was hesitant. Zoey on the other hand had never been to an exhibit like this like Gillian has so the animations of the dinosaurs was a little overwhelmed. She made it through with a little hand holding. After the exhibit Build-a-Bear had a Build-a-Dinosaur store. They each pick out a dinosaur (of course pink) and stuffed it and had a blast doing it. Finally we went to the Sesame Street Planetarium and the girls loved the show! I have never seen so many toddlers stay still for that long of a time. Overall a fantastic day!!!

Gillian's Princess Slumber Party
We had Zoey and Abbie over for Gillian's Birthday. This year we decided to do a themed slumber party. All the girls dressed up in the princess costumes, decorated tiaras, had pizza, went crazy over blowers, decorated cupcakes, opened presents, and watched a Princess movie. They all had a great time!

LSO (LIBERTY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA)
Click the book to see a YouTube clip
Zach is a principal percussionist for the Liberty Symphony Orchestra. He really enjoys being back into music and he gets paid to do what he loves. This season started off with a performance called The Composer is Dead. It was hilarious. I have never laughed so hard at a musical performance. Zach did an amazing job. He was really nervous about some solos he had but he pulled them off beautifully.
I love homework!
Zach was doing his homework the other night and Gillian wanted to do homework as well. We gave her a pen and some paper and she went a laid next to Zach on the floor. She kept saying "I love homework!" Zach was laughing saying "Lets see how you feel about it in 10 years." I had to take a picture so that we can bring it up whenever she complains about homework in the future.

The Pumpkin Patch
We took Gillian and Zoey early in October to Caroline's Pumpkin Patch for the day. It is a great place for them to run around and get dirty and have a blast. There are swings, slides, hayrides, and tons of things for them to see and interact with. We took the hayride out to the pumpkin patch and I told them if they can carry it then they could have it :) It was histarical to watch them try to pick up the big pumpkins.

Happy Halloween (pt. 5)
On Halloween we took Gillian to Trick or Treat on Liberty Square. Because her pink princess costume got dirty at the Trunk or Treat she wore her Princess Tiana costume. It didn't go over to well at first but she got use to it. What can I say? The girl loves pink. I got to take each of the girls individually and get some pictures taken. there were a lot of kids up there but as long as they were getting candy everyone was happy. Afterwards we went home and for the first time in my life I passed out candy. We had six trick or treaters and Zach was thrilled!

This was our not-so-happy-face about the Princess Tiana dress. She was adorable though!

Much better after getting candy!

Halloween pt. 3 & 4
Nerdy 50's High School Sweathearts!
After the Trunk or Treat, Gillian spent the night with Me Maw while Zach and I went to a couple of parties. The first one we went to was at Zach's friend Buddy's house. I didn't have a chance to take a lot of pictures because I was laughing to hard at Zach and Buddy trying to hit each other with a ping pong ball in the weirdest and yet funniest game of Beer Pong I have ever seen. After Buddy's we went to Alli's Annual Spookaticular. As always great costumes, great friends, and non stop laughing at Q.
Halloween pt. 2
We went to the Annual Trunk or Treat at Laura and Peter's church. This year it was at a farm and it was beautiful!!! There was A LOT of chili and food for all. We went on a hayride and I laughed the whole time at Laura fearing she was going to fall off the back of the trailer. We ate smores and went Trunk or Treating. It was a lot of fun! The girls were cute in their princess outfits. Brielle was a gold fish for awhile but ended up being a pink snuggly for Zach to keep his hands warm :)
