We took Gillian and Boston to their very first Red Sox Game. They had a great time. Gillian loves baseball and hopefully one day Boston will share the same passion.

Boston Four Months
Boston Lee Cochran - 4 months
Boston is the happiest baby I have ever known. He smiles at everyone especially his big sister Gillian. At four months he weighed 14 pounds 15 ounces. He is 26 inches long. He can roll on both sides and is constantly reaching for toys. He can sit up with support and some times without. We started eating cereal and he LOVES it! He has mastered tummy time and loves it. He makes a lot more noise then Gillian ever did. He is always cooing and humming. He still has his cute sad face. And I love it when he is playing with he ball and he get angry when he can't put it in his mouth. He roars like a lion at it. It is soooo cute!!!!!!!
Boston and Riley
Riley loves her cousin. Every time she sees him she gets excited and says "baby!" I hope that they are just as close as Gillian and Zoey are (even with the age gap of 14 months) Riley likes to play with his toys and give him kisses on top of his head. She also likes to share his pacifier. She never liked a pacifier until she saw him with on. I guess monkey see monkey do :)

New Toy
Now that Boston is a little older and has perfected holding his head, we decided to try a new toy. Gillian loved it when she was little and I think Boston likes it too. He doesn't play with the toys as much yet but I think he just likes the new view.
Sitting up
We were playing one night in Gillian and Boston's room and I thought I would try to see if Boston could sit up. I was amazed on how well he did for his first time. I think the attention that Daddy and Gillian were giving him made him try harder.
Laughing and noises
The best part of babies is when they learn to smile and laugh. It is the best feeling every to get them to smile and laugh. And of course Daddy knows best. Sorry not the best lighting when i was filming these.
Accidents
Gillian had her second major accident on July 10th. She was playing in Zoey's room and from what I gathered from a three year old and a four year old was that a toy fell off the bed and Zoey went to get it. Gillian looked over the bed and Zoey stood up and their heads collided. Gillian split her lip open. She also pushed a tooth back into her gum and moved another tooth outward a little. I knew the lip would be ok but I was concerned with her teeth because her gums were immediately black and blue. We ended up taking he to the ER just to make sure. She also had to go to the dentist the following day. I am amazed that she has know had to go to the ER three times and that was way more than me when i was a child. To recap her ER visits:
1. Double Ear infection which resulted in a four day hospital stay
2. Stitches in her thumb from splitting it open down to the bone from a slammed door
3. Collision with cousin and a fat lip and hairline crack in a baby tooth
I an nervous when she gets older

Tummy Time
It took Boston longer than Gillian to like tummy time. Gillian slept on her tummy so that contributes to why she liked it earlier. Lately though he has been more into it. I think that he is getting better with his hands and that is why he enjoys it more. If Gillian is playing with him he will lay on his tummy forever. Gillian likes to make him roll though :)
4th of July
Fun day filled with splash park, cook out, sparklers, and the Firework show. This year we were disappointed at Gladstone's Firework show. Something happened and it was only park of the show. No finale and no explanation on what happen. Then we had to wait an hour to get out of the park. Not worth it in my mind. I don't believe we will go there next year. The kids had fun and that is all that matters.
