Fun with things we find!

Zoey came over to visit and Gillian was so excited to see her. They love to play and take each others toys (Zoey usually wins) I love seeing them have so much fun together. Its great that they get along so well.

The forbidden pleasure!

Now that Gillian is more mobile she has learned that there are new places in the living room besides the section with her toys. Over the weekend she has discovered a new toy that is to say the least not one we want her to play with. Though we keep the front door locked so that no one just walks in, its still not to be played with. It is too darn cute though!

Kerri called us and wanted to take the girls swimming. Zoey got a new toy for the lake and Kerri wanted to see how Zoey would take it. The pictures show the proof! they had so much fun just chilling and floating around. Bean looked like she could fall asleep though after a while. It was a great day and perfect weather. This will have to be something we do more often.

Friday night we went to KCIR to watch Robbie race. I was a little worried at first about Bean being there but after the ear plugs were placed and the first cars went by we reaized that our daughter was set for anything. I don't know why I was nervous. She doesn't cry at vaccums, fireworks, storms, or even noises on the TV that make me jump. She was great and we all had a blast watching Robbie. I can't wait to do it again!

1st Annual Float Trip

This past weekend we had a float trip with the R-Town gang. This included Q and Amanda, Robbie and Leslie, Meyer and Kelly, Johnny and Lauren, and others (friends but they camped in a different spot) It was a lot of fun and suprisingly not to much drama (normal couples tiffs) I had a great time and I am excited that it is going to be a annual event. Next year though I am going to be more activily in charge so that it will run just a little smoother. Hey this was the first one and I think Amanda did a great job!!!!

Fish, Fun, and the Cha Cha Slide!!!

Sunday we went down to the Cochran farm. It was a wonderful day and had a great time there. Gillian was obsessed with a toy turtle that played and Cha Cha Slide and moved around. The boys played some video games after lunch and then Zach, Bob, and I went fishing which was a blast. Just to let you know how it went:

Fourth Celebration at the Dunns

Saturday I took Gillian and we went to my father's "farm". There the girls got to play in the wagon that Grandpa Dunn got them and Zoey was now old enough to ride one of the horses. Gillian will be there soon enough.

A Day in History

Thursday I grabbed Zoey and took her and Gillian to the WWI Museum at Liberty Memorial. It was amazing! Though the girls didn't understand what was going on they loved looking at everything and even touching what they could reach. I would recommend this to everyone. They did an amazing job and I am going to have to go back (without the girls) to truely take in all the information.

Happy Birthday Steve!

Ok so I am a little late on posting this but it has been a very topsy turvy past couple of weeks. We went to Zach's mother's house for his stepdad's birthday. It was suprising a pleasent time and I loved watching Gillian and Abbie play together. We had a great lunch and cake and ice cream. Then we just sat around talking and having a good time.
