EWWW Look at my fingers!!!
We bought the girls finger paint and let them have a go at it. I was kind of nervous cause the age suggestion was 3 but we figured that they haven't been putting things in their mouth so we will would try it. Zoey went right at it digging her fingers into the jars and putting it on the paper. Gillian was a little more hesitant and had to be nudged a little. After she saw that it was ok she started to laugh and have fun with it. They both had a lot of fun and made some cute pictures. They didn't really draw anything just smeared around but I bet if we gave them a name and sold it to Nelson Art Gallery then they would make millions LOL!!!

Ethnic Festival
On Sunday we went to the Kansas City Ethnic Festival. We went early in the morning so we would miss the crowds and it worked out really well. We tried some food from China, Scotland, Sweden, and some other countries. We also watched a performance of Celtic dancers that was really awesome. I would love it if Gillian was interested in that when she is older!!! In China we got Crab Rangoon (fake crab) and Gillian loved it. she tore it up and signed for more!!! I love the Ethnic Festival!

Zoey and Gillian playing
So the girls have developed a game that they run around the house like crazy and laugh about it. Ok, not so much a game as it is just them playing but it is entertaining none the less. It is almost like a little glimpse in their world. (Old couch so you can tell this is a little old)
Missing Movies
I misplaced my canon utility CD so I was not able to put it on my lap top. This meant that any video I took would be benched till I found the program. So now I have found it and now I can view the videos to see what they are and put it up. So this is randomness that has happen over the last few months.

Walking the Trails
Today I had the day off so we took the girls to Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary. They had a lot of fun walking some of the trails and visiting the center. We went next to the creek but it was too high to walk in it. After we walked some trails we went to CiCi's Pizza to make up all the calories that we lost! LOL

That is Zach's Girly Girl!!!

Omaha Zoo
We all took the girls to the Omaha Zoo and we had a lot of fun. We picked the perfect day to go. The weather was a little cloudy so it was not hot and there was a breeze. The girls has a lot of fun. We took the wagon instead of the strollers and that was the best thing we could have done. They stayed in it the whole time unless we took them out. The loved the aquarium with all the fish and penguins. We were barley out of the parking lot when the both fell asleep and stayed that way until we were almost home. On the plus side we stopped at RUNZA for lunch and it was awesome!!!!

3 Year Anniversay
Zach and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary and we decided a small trip to St. Louis was a perfect way to spend it. We had a lot of fun and got to do a lot in a short time. We got there late Friday and had dinner at an Irish pub and the food was amazing.
Saturday morning we got up early and I dragged Zach to the top of the Arch. We were up there for two minutes (just enough time to take four pictures) before Zach cried uncle. As a reward for making it all the way to the top, I took Zach on a nice relaxing Steam Boat Tour. After that we ate at White Castle (ewwwww but Zach loved it) and then went to tour Anheisaur-Busch. That was a lot of fun and very interesting to learn their process. We had some extra time so we checked out Forest Park and the Art Gallery. Saturday night we had the best Italian Food we have ever had at Charlie Gittos on The Hill. It was amazing!!!
Sunday we got up and went on a tour at Busch Stadium. It was beautiful and though we are die hard Red Sox fans we appreciate the game and loved to see the behind-the-sceens of a major league stadium. On our way home we stopped at a Outlet Mall and did some shopping. It was an awesome weekend!!!! Next Year we are thinking... Chicago :)

A lot happens in a month!!!
I have been horrible lately about updating!!!! So lets see....
Gillian at 20-21 months:
She is off the pacifier completely!
She loves to sing Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle Dinosaur, Ring around the Rosey, Head Shoulders knees and toes (although shoulders and knees get skipped over). Of course mostly she does the movements :)
She says: shoe, book, ball, memo (Elmo), bobob (SpongeBob), no, yes, love you, night night, bath, gone, cookie, bye bye, mommy, daddy, showey (Zoey), pease (please), hot, baby, diaper, ewwww (dirty diaper), happy, Abbie, silly, play, sit, chair, more, puppy, kitty, fish, pizza, and tank you (thank you).
She loves playing with her Cabbage Patch Baby and with blocks. She absolutely loves her Doodle Pad and etcha sketch. All Puzzles and Books will keep her happy for hours.
When she needs her diaper changed all you have to say is diaper and she goes to her room and lays down for you (which rocks). She will blow kisses and gives hugs. She high fives and fist bumps. She can sign more, cookie, eat, drink, I love you, and kinda can do play. We are working on hot, outside, and patience.
She loves to go to the park and swing. We take her to the City Park that has a splash park. Though she doesn't play in the water she gets right up to the edge and laughs.
She amazes us everyday!!!!
