Happy Nine Months

I know that this is late and I apologize. Better late that never though!!!!

Age: 9 months

Weight: 17 pounds 4 ounces

Height: 27inches

Head: 17 1/4 inches

Just a bundle of JOY!!! She can eat anything that can be "squashed" and we are starting to be more active with the sippy cup so that she can be weaned off it by 12months. She finally said mama but when i got excited and repeated it back to her she smiles and said dada. Little terd!

Oh and a picture of Zach without facial hair to let his "chin" breath as he said it. The hair will be returning soon though cause I find it awkward and I feel like every time I give him a kiss I am kissing a stranger...

Another new experience.... though not one I liked

Over the weekend Gillian had to be admitted in the hospital. We took her to the ER Friday night and then again on Saturday where she was admitted and then released yesterday. Middle Ear Infection is the bad guy but it was the dehydration that kept here in there so long. The blood test that they use to determine hydration, Gillian couldn't pass. The normal level is 24 and she only hit about a 21. So it was a long weekend and beginning week for her. Now she is almost back to her normal self. Well her personality is back and she is happy to be home. I am happy that she is home too. It was painful for me ( and for her) to watch her in pain and also to see the nurses struggle so much to find her little vains. They were all amazing though. So now we move on to a happy healthier baby girl! On a cute note I did get a great video where Gillian is obsessed with Zach's lips. She would lay there and play with it then she realized the sucker and that was a new goal for her to grab. It was cute and also let us know that she was feeling a lot better.

Gillian had problems falling a sleep so we rocked her a lot. This time Zach rocked himself to sleep as well!

Bean and her "fake" arm. She did a great job working without that hand.

Fun time!!

I do have to say that now that Bean is crawling, standing, cruising, and sitting herself up, play time is a lot more fun. She also seems to be a lot happier baby then when she depended so much on other people ( just like me). Another good thing about this step is that old toys seem new again since she is capable of getting them herself and putting them where ever she likes. Though things that weren't toys are now becoming them i.e. newspaper, water bottles, and shoes. Dang the shoes!!!

First drum lesson

Zach wants Bean to grow up to be a percussionist for DCI. So the other day he set of his drum set and started her first lesson. It started out well but then she got to excited and we had to stop. The video will show why. It was very cute though. I had a great time watching Zach try to help her.

Crawl, scoot, or just a way to move around

So it was pointed out to me that I haven't put up any video of Gillian and her crawl (army scoot). I apologize for this and got some last night. Though I wanted her to sit up to show that as well I thought it was amazing enough that she went down the hall way (her first time).
