Happy Halloween 09!!!
We took the girls trick and treating around the neighborhood. It didn't take long for them to figure out how to get the candy. It was funny when we started out. As soon as they neighbors would open their doors the girls would try walk into their homes. Thankfully we know most of our neighbors so they thought it was cute. Gillian was the polite one. She would say "tick treat" and "thank you". She would also say bye and run to the next house. Zach bought them glow sticks and they thought they were the coolest thing ever. They were super cute! Six houses was the perfect number. We let them each have one piece of candy and they thought that was awesome.

Just one piece of candy? Abbie had three suckers going at once at Peter's parents' house. :)
The girls look like they had a lot of fun! Glow sticks... I'll have to remember that for next year. Those were Zach and I's favorite part of Halloween.
I know what you mean about all the candy. I'm about ready to either hide it all or get rid of it. She would still beg for it though. They just KNOW.
